Click through to find my recap of last night’s Nuits St Georges tasting at Ginsberg+Chan.  Overall impression is that these wines were all quite typical (and great!) examples of this hallowed appellation.  Masculine in flavor and structure with hints of funk, deep red and black fruit, and pressed violets on most.

I really enjoyed the smokey and carmelized flavors on the last two which surely (further) prove how great aged wine is.
